Project Context: The Green AV Initiative
This workshop is part of the “Social dialogue enhancing the green transition in the European audiovisual sector” project, which builds on successful cooperation from 2023. The previous phase created the GreenDialogue Audiovisual platform (formerly Green Toolkit Film & TV), a web-based hub for resources and best practices on sustainable audiovisual production.
The project focuses on four specific objectives:
- To evaluate the impact of transition goals on the entire value chain and each production department, and to disseminate information and best practices for adapting work organisation, practices, and occupations.
- To focus on new skills requirements and occupations that promote sustainable employment and production.
- To develop and promote tools that enhance cooperation among social partners and facilitate social dialogue and collective bargaining on the green transition.
- To engage with EU policymakers on policies, public support, and investments that drive the sector’s sustainable transition.
